Inspections and importance of inspection in origin
Inaccurate information and defective products are endangering business as they often result in unhappy customers, lost sales, operation disruptions, reworks, recalls, or even problems of safety and legal issues.

VERIFICATION, INSPECTION AND AUDIT OF FARMS AND COOPERATIVES :
Raw produce as coffee, Cocoa (to make chocolate), rice, cotton, cashew nuts, corn, rubber and fresh fruits need to be inspected properly, these products can be inspected from farm level up to export .
Physical inspections, observations and interviews are generally performed at each farm. The aim of these inspections is not only to verify the quantity and quality of the goods but also to verify the whole supply chain in order to ensure accountability and regulate practices throughout the process.


The audit and verification covers the following aspects of the supply chain:
Economic fairness and transparency (fair prices paid to farmers for their produce).
Social responsibility (security, gender equity, protection of minor from working, access to education and health).
