HOLD AND HATCH SURVEYS
Before loading of goods on to vessel a general inspection is done by our inspectors.
 
Assignment details: Shipper, Commodities, Specification, Weight, Packing, Mark, Quantity, Vessel’s Name, Destination, Inspection date, etc.
This means, checking the general cleanliness of the means of transport, checking the holds, fumigation of hold and the ship decks essentials.
Before loading into lighter, our inspector checks the condition of the lighter, including cleanliness, previous cargo, types of floor, overlay with dunnage and suitability for fumigation.
Eyelander supervises loading or unloading operations to check whether the goods are in agreement with the contract specifications regarding quality and quantity.

IDENTIFYING, MARKING AND SEPARATION OF GOODS
During loading, identification of goods can be useful. To facilitate the discharging of our client goods, sometimes markings and separations of goods are necessary. Markings are done with ribbons, seals and other types of marking.

RECONDITIONING
Supervision of reconditioning of damaged commodities during loading is crucial. Commodities packaging are sometimes damaged during transport, this can lead to weight loss for clients. Eyelander’s agents supervise and makes sure sweeping are reconditioned and damaged sacks are sewed, a report on the incidents is made and the client is informed.
The Report in Statement of Fact contains all necessary information and findings.
